TKM LAUNCH CORONATION O PLATES AT BUCKMORE

Entries open tonight (Monday April 17) for the Coronation TKM O plates being held at Buckmore Park over the weekend of the big royal celebration.

Medway Valley Kart Club are organising the event – believed to be the first time the TKM O plates have been held at the challenging Kent based circuit noted for its mixture of fast and slow corners and up and down nature.

The event starts with testing all day on Saturday May 6 to be followed by racing all day on Sunday for the titles. There will be classes for Inter, Junior, Senior Extreme as well as TKM Clubman.

The TKM Clubman drivers get the double benefit of also racing for points in their regional championship which has just completed its first round at Shenington.

Use of new control Maxxis dry tyres is mandatory for all the classes with the tyres being distributed early Sunday morning. Tyre use for testing is open.

Cost for the complete weekend of Saturday testing and Sunday racing is £160 for Medway members and £170 for non members. For those just racing on Sunday the costs is £85 for members and £90 for non members. Entries to be made direct to
