WHILTON MILL TKM TEST DAYS FOR CADET DRIVERS

Tal-Ko have teamed up with Whilton Mill to host two special test days at the Northamptonshire circuit catering for Cadet drivers looking to move into the TKM Junior class next year.

The tests will take place on Friday October 23 and Wednesday October 28, coinciding with half term for most children. The idea is to allow prospective new drivers from Cadets or other classes the chance to have a low cost test drive in a TKM championship winning Tal-Ko Veloce kart and TKM BT82 engine.

The day will provide young drivers with the opportunity to get a proper test in a TKM kart and get a real feel for the class. On hand will be TKM boss Alan Turney who says: “This is the perfect opportunity for drivers in Cadets to get their taste of racing in a much more powerful kart than the one they will be used to.

“We will be keeping the numbers low so that drivers get a real chance to understand what they are doing and have a proper test.”

Tal-Ko will be providing two karts which will include the TAG touch and go version. Any driver aged 10 upwards is permitted. Drivers must bring their own race safety equipment such as helmet, race suit, boots and gloves.

Cost for the test will be just £10 or free if the driver is also testing their own kart on the day. Numbers are restricted and will be taken on a strictly first come first served basis for bookings.

In order to take part drivers should apply to testday@tkmdriversclub.com and ask for a registration form which must be completed and returned. Size information is important to ensure everyone can be accommodated.
