80+ TKM ENTRIES FOR ‘BRITAIN’S FINEST’ EVENT AT WHILTON MILL

There is already a huge entry of 80+ TKMs for the last major event of the year, the ‘Britain’s Finest’ race meeting being held at Whilton Mill over the weekend of October 21/22.

Following the success of last year’s event which was oversubscribed, this year the event has been turned into a two-day race meeting in order to allow a greater number of entries with A and B finals where numbers require.

Already the TKM Extremes are well into a second grid, underlining the popularity of this last chance in 2017 to gain a prestigious title.

And as an added bonus the Sunday race day will be streamed for live viewing via the Whilton Mill Kart Club Facebook page and Alpha Timing live timing.

Entries are open to TKM Junior, TKM Senior Extreme and TKM Clubman. There will be TKM prize vouchers for the top three in each class. The event is open to novice drivers with additional novice awards. Extreme and Juniors have great grids though Clubman still a little thin.

Testing is available on the Friday at £50 (£40 for members). The entry fee for the meeting is £90 which includes Saturday morning testing, before the race meeting gets underway, with official practice and heats in the afternoon. Then on Sunday will be the remainder of the race meeting with more heats for every driver and a final.

Entries can be made online at www.whiltonmill.co.uk or to https://wmkc.alphatiming.co.uk/register/msa. Closing date for normal price entries is 12 noon on Tuesday, Oct 17. After that at £15 extra until closing on Thursday, Oct 19.

Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “It will be a great way to end the year for TKM racers.”

Added Whilton Mill’s Debbie Sellers: “We look forward to a great entry with no restriction on numbers, making this a special TKM weekend here at Whilton Mill.”

The event is fully supported by Tal-Ko with technical back-up at the circuit.
