TKM LAUNCH ‘BRITAIN’S FINEST’ EVENT AT WHILTON MILL

Formula TKM will close the year with a new ‘Britain’s Finest’ one day event at Whilton Mill in October, replacing what would have been the last round of the TKM club championships.

This special event will feature races for TKM Juniors, Extreme and Clubman to provide a special finish to what will have been an exceptional year for the TKM classes – the largest racing in the Super One British Championships.

The event will take place at Whilton Mill on October 23 as part of the club’s race meeting with special support from Tal-Ko, owners and supporters of the TKM classes.

Aside from providing technical support at the event, Tal-Ko will also provide special awards for each of the classes with valuable cash vouchers for TKM parts.

Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “We have such a strong following for the TKM classes in the Midlands area and we felt this event would provide drivers of every standard from novice through to expert, the chance for an end of year special day out.

“We know that many drivers like the different aspects of the Whilton Mill circuit which provides a combination of fast and slow corners as well as some gradients. And our welcome here from Debbie and her team is always very strong.

“There seems to be plenty of support for the idea from drivers so we look forward to a well supported meeting.”

The event will take place on Sunday October 23 with testing the day before. Cost for entry is £50 and testing the same. TAG transponder hire £10 extra. Entries can be made online at the club’s website, www.wmkc.co.uk anytime from today.

Driver’s wanting to take part in other club race meetings at the circuit are always welcome but it needs 10 for a class to be run.
