ENTRIES OPEN FOR TKM FESTIVAL AT KIMBOLTON

Entries for the TKM Festival at Kimbolton in August are now open – the top event in the calendar for the class, this year with added space for classic karts and Honda Cadet.

As usual the event takes place over the weekend of August 13-14 with testing on Friday 12th and will feature all three TKM classes with an F plate on offer to the winner in Clubman. Classic TKM will feature too.

The event will use the unique format that has been successful for many years with the grids open to drivers of all experience including novices. And they will be a split into Elite and Festival finals after the heats are completed for large classes.

TKM drivers will get a huge amount of track time with testing all day Friday, official practice and timed qualifying on Saturday followed by two heats. Sunday will see a further heat and then a pre-final and final.

Saturday night will see a hog roast organised by Hunts Kart Race Club and there will be a host of gifts and prizes for drivers to be announced soon.

Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “We look forward to once more returning to Kimbolton for the Festival. We have simplified the format by running the TKM O plates at Rissington so everyone can have maximum focus on the Festival titles.”
