TKM JOINS ULTIMATE KARTING CHAMPIONSHIP
FOR FRESH LOOK IN 2024
We are delighted to confirm that Formula TKM will have a fresh new national championship next year run by the fast-growing Ultimate Karting Championship at prime circuits across the UK.
The decision to move to UKC has been taken in response to driver and team feedback and will see changes in format making for reduced cost, maximum value racing as well as reduced red tape.
The championship will include TKM Inter, Junior and Senior Extreme classes and will feature a unique reward loyalty discount scheme open to every TKM driver taking part which means everyone will be winners, not just the top positions.
Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “We have been impressed at the operation of UKC Global over the past few years when they were running outside of MSUK regulations. When they switched to licensed racing, it was a very easy decision for us to make.
“Paul and his team at UKC bring a very polished championship which has been widely praised for good organisation, racing, promotion and spirit along with fair but tight engine technical control, and we want to maximise all those features for our drivers. And this new TKM championship with UKC will give our drivers real reductions in costs across the board.”
The UKC championship features live feed from all its meetings along with a TV edit. UKC have their own dedicated area complete with presentation backdrop. Main key elements for drivers include:
Full details of the championship regulations will be released later in October with Registration starting on October 27
