FULBECK TO RUN TKM FOCUSSED EVENT IN AUGUST

Fulbeck have given the go ahead to a special Formula TKM focussed race meeting in August to replace the one which had to be cancelled earlier this year due to coronavirus.

The Formula TKM Spring Cup event in March was planned to kick start the season and give drivers an excellent chance to test at the circuit under race conditions before the first round of the British Kart champs.

Now it is planned to run the same event over the weekend of August 22/23 with testing all day Saturday and racing on the Sunday. It will give drivers the chance to properly test at the circuit which has undergone considerable update with new flat style kerbs which significantly change lines.

The event will also accommodate for the first time a round of the TKM Clubman Regional Championship which has had to re-jigged because of pandemic caused changes.

Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “We are delighted that Fulbeck have been able to make this possible. It should be a very well received and popular event for TKM drivers.”

Race day entry is £65 with test day £50. Overnight camping permitted. Friday testing also available if required. Add on exhausts not required. Naturally full social distancing arrangements will be in force. Full entry details at https://www.fulbeckkartclub.co.uk
