CORONAVIRUS STATEMENT   (17/03/20)

The UK is currently among the countries affected by the Coronavirus, and the consequences of this global emergency is generating difficulties in karting such as sporting activity, manufacturing and supply.

At Tal-Ko because of the Coronavirus and the guidance from the British Government and social responsibility to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to introduce prompt safety protocols in order to limit every possible danger for our personnel, customers and suppliers.

First of all, the meetings of people within the company have been reduced such as presentations, interviews with customers and suppliers, instead using alternative IT tools whenever possible.

Secondly we have introduced shorter working times to limit staff movements together with reduced number of days worked each week from 5 to 3 (Tue/Weds/Thurs) starting Friday 20th March 2020.

From a production point of view, the situation is being monitored day by day to evaluate and manage in the best possible way, any consequence caused by reductions or delays in the supply of raw materials and external processes.

From a sales point of view everything will still work in the normal way apart from the opportunity to ship or collect from online orders or other, being reduced to these 3 days.

These actions have not been taken lightly, but Tal-Ko must prioritise the health and well-being of its staff, suppliers and customers while also acknowledging the Government’s efforts in tackling this outbreak.

We are still available on our usual contact methods!

Thank you for your understanding.
