PACKED GRIDS FOR TKM BRITAIN’S FINEST FINALE

Formula TKM drivers will be heading to their last prime event of the year next weekend, the TKM Britain’s Finest, being held for the first time at Kimbolton.

With Junior and Senior grids for the event already packed, HKRC at looking at extending entries into further grids at what will be a one-day race meeting for TKM and Honda Cadet on Sunday November 8, with other classes on the Saturday.

The Britain’s Finest event had been scheduled to take place at PFI but when they were unable to host due to coronavirus restrictions, Kimbolton stepped in. Says TKM boss Alan Turney:” I am delighted that HKRC have been able to stage our end of year special day. Having lost the Maxxis TKM Festival due to the virus this was a perfect solution.”

The event is open to all TKM drivers with valuable TKM vouchers as part of the prize package. By making it two race meetings over the Nov 7/8 weekend it helps Kimbolton provide extra racing in a year that has been robbed of many days due to the virus.

Says HKRC Chairman Nigel Freeman:” We have done all we can to give our members as much racing as possible this year and hope we can move into next year with a firm plan in place to give everyone lots of racing.”
