GET READY TO REGISTER FOR TKM BRITISH KART CHAMPS

Registrations for the 2023 TKM British Kart Championships will open at lunch-time this Friday, March 24, with the first round due at PFI circuit at the end of April.

The five round championship sponsored by Wera Tools, offers three TKM classes, for Inter, Junior and Senior titles. In each case use of new tyres is restricted to keep a control on costs.

The championship takes in an expanded range of circuits as favoured by competitors including the popular GYG circuit in Wales as well as Rowrah in Cumbria. Friday testing at the weekend of the event is being offered for most rounds to cut down on travel for drivers.

In response to driver feedback only one set of slicks to be used at each event and wet tyres to be carried over from one event to another. A Pre-final will also be part of the race package at each round.

Says TKM boss Alan Turney: “We have an excellent spread of circuits this year with some old favourites and two new ones we have not visited for a while. The response to the dates has been very favourable.”

Once again, the events will all be live streamed and available to view after on You Tube. Full details on registration, entries, regulations etc are available at www.britishkartchampionships.co.uk
