TKM CLARIFY 10-YEAR-OLD START AGE INTO JUNIOR CLASS

A few parents have been unsure of the requirements for upgrading from Cadet into Junior TKM in the year of the 11^th birthday, new for 2020, which has been complicated by the change of licence titles, so here some simple clarification:

Junior TKM is the only Mini/Junior class that allows entry at this younger age.

The child must have completed qualification from being a novice to a full licence with the required signatures.

They must upgrade to a National kart race licence (Inter-Club not valid for this)

They must meet both the minimum weight and height requirements of 37kg and 135cm. This is a safety issue.

The date they can move in is from Jan 1 in the year in which they have their 11^th birthday whether Jan 1, through to Dec 31.

From 11 years old any child can enter so long as they meet weight/height requirements.
