The closing date is just a week away for the Maxxis TKM Festival being held over its traditional date of August 10 – 12 at Kimbolton. Deadline for all entries is midnight on Wednesday, August 1.

Now in its 21st year, the TKM Festival has been a superbly followed event combining a special mix of ultra-close racing with great off track spirit of friendship.

Supported once again by Maxxis Tyres, the event will continue its unique format which allows drivers to compete for the Festival and ABkC ‘0’ plates over the same weekend.

And for the first time this year drivers racing in the Clubman class will be able to race for a special TKM ‘F’ plate adding additional zest to the racing.

Once again the TV cameras which captured ‘the best kart race in the world’ at the Festival a few years ago, will be recording the action with the added benefit of a drone which brings an extra dimension to the coverage.

As usual the event offers a glittering array of trophies with the winners’ trophies listing a who’s who of top names who have graduated on to prestige drives within motor racing.

Every driver will receive a gift-pack from Maxxis Tyres along with entry into a draw for £2,000 worth of TKM vouchers given by Tal-Ko Racing. And all winners will receive a giant blow up photo of them in action.

The provisional regulations give full details of the event and are available from the Tal-Ko website at Tyre order forms are also available at the same address and all of the above are also available on the Hunts Kart Racing Club website where entries are rolling in. Enter online at
