TKM NORTHERN CHAMPIONSHIPS CANCELLED

The TKM Northern Championships which were going to run as part of the NKF series have been cancelled due to lack of numbers registered.

Those who did register will of course receive full repayment of registration fees direct from NKF organiser Malcolm Fell.

TKM boss Alan Turney said: “We are disappointed with this cancellation but there was no choice. We had just eight drivers registered which is actually in line with our best estimate earlier in the year when we decided to join forces with NKF to see if that made a difference.

“It is clear that while there are plenty of drivers around in the North they don’t want to commit to a championship in the conventional manner. We will be discussing with the MSA and ABkC ways to make club level championships much more flexible for the future.”
