REGISTRATIONS OPENED FOR 2016 TKM CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Provisional regulations have been published for the 2016 Formula TKM Club Championships and registrations opened for the three regional series covering the South, Midlands and North.

Nearly 100 drivers took part in the championships last year and once again confirmed the strong following for the TKM initiative to provide low cost championships that do not require travelling all over the country to compete in.

Registration for each of all three championships is £65 – but discounted to £54 for all entries received by March 11. Regulations remain to the virtually unchanged format which has been so popular.

The Maxxis TKM Festival at Kimbolton 13/14 August has again been included as a round for all three series – a move which proved a highlight for many drivers when it was added for the first time last year. The festival is fully featured on Motors TV and will again also award the 2016 ABkC ‘O’ plates for TKM Junior and TKM Extreme in a format that allows drivers to compete in separate races at the same event.

Other than the Festival, the championship rounds all take part within normal club race meetings with the points adapted to only cover the championship competitors. All three regional championships for the South, Midlands and North, will start in April and conclude in September/October.

As far as possible date clashes with the TKM Super One Championship and the regional championships have been avoided giving drivers the chance to compete in more than one championship. Five out of six rounds will count in the South and Midlands. Six out of seven rounds in the North.

Dates and regulations are provisional although not expected to change. Registration forms available for download at www.tal-ko.com
