NEW FORMAT TKM EXTREME TOPS ENTRIES FOR

SUPER ONE BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS

And with such a strong entry for the TKM ABKC National Championships, the Super One organisers have confirmed that they will run extra grids to house the Extreme numbers up to a maximum of 51 at any round.

Extra heats will be run along with repechage finals for any entry over 38 at a meeting. And even if there are not enough for repechage finals, drivers will still be able to score points. Full details are listed in the regulations.

“It’s a fantastic result” says TKM boss Alan Turney. “We have virtually quadrupled the number registered by listening to our drivers’ wishes and adapting to them. It will make for a great year.”

With such a high entry in TKM Extreme, the registrations will definitely close at the listed closing date, Sunday, January 31 and no late registrations will be taken. It is therefore vital to get registrations in by this closing date.

In the TKM Junior class there are limited places available. Registrations also close on January 31 so it is important to register before that date to avoid disappointment. Again it puts emphasis on getting the paperwork in by deadline.

The change in format for TKM classes this year includes a reduction to six rounds, just two days racing at each event other than the final round, restrictions on tyre usage, dropping of expensive control fuel and TKM supported entry fee.

It reduces the time away at events and makes for a shorter and more action packed weekend with lower costs all round.

Super One boss John Hoyle says: “We are amazed at the response and pleased to be able to mould our events to the drivers’ wishes. We will do everything we can to accommodate the high numbers and give them great weekends.”

The winners of both of the Junior and Senior Extreme S1 2016 TKM championships will receive free registration and race entries from JKH into the following year’s 2017 TKM S1 series, with additionally from Tal-Ko free dry tyres for each event and one set of wet tyres for the series.
