This
engine was originally developed for use in top
level UK karting classes before changes in regulations
rendered it not suitable for such usage. Since
then it has been sold by us as an outstanding
'hobby' type engine.

The piston port design of the engine makes for
a unit which is easy to use and its in-built
strength utilising the latest design elements
makes it well suited to high performance hobby
use.
The
engine has been extensively used for hobby racing
on karts, and also for many diverse uses including
hovercraft.
The engine
was originally available with a standard direct
drive or with a centrifugal clutch and off-board
electric starter.
