Tal-Ko Racing is the exclusive UK distributor for the MAXXIS tyres used within the Formula TKM
2 & 4 stroke classes. These tyres have been specially developed and approved for the
class in conjunction with Tal-Ko with the accent on providing high
performance tyres suitable for the classes at sensible costs.

MAXXIS are themselves a world-wide name in the design and manufacture of tyres used within specialist areas. The company has invested heavily to ensure only the highest quality standards and production efficiency.

Three tyres are offered within the UK for the Formula TKM classes:

SLC Green Label

Maxxis with GREEN labels, used as the slick dry weather tyres for all the 2-stroke classes and for the 4-stroke juniors. Every tyre has Formula TKM moulded into its sidewall.

Use 130mm front wheels & 210mm rear wheels with between 12lbs to 18lbs pressure all round.
 

Red Label

Maxxis with RED labels, a stickier more advanced tyre used to match with the greater power of the TKM 4-stroke senior class, though still achieving a long life. Every tyre has a red MAXXIS TKM label.

Use 130mm front wheels & 210mm rear wheels with between 8lbs to 14lbs pressure all round.
